Worldwide Brands Review and Comparison

This is just a short post – not another long and very detailed Worldwide Brands review that lists every feature and even the most obscure benefits.  In this short review, I'm just going to cover the most important factors to take into account when considering whether or not to join Worldwide Brands – or any other similar paid directory.

Worldwide Brands is a directory, not a wholesale supplier itself.  In the directory, which is open only to members who have paid the $299 fee for access, there are about 9,000 wholesalers, drop shippers and liquidators based in the United States and many other countries around the world.  From these suppliers there are about 16 million products that are available to search through and buy at trade prices.

Such a large number of both suppliers and products makes Worldwide Brands the largest directory by far.  By comparison, Salehoo, which is the closest competitor to Worldwide Brands, has only about 2.5 million products on offer.  In addition, all the suppliers in Worldwide Brands are certified – which means they have been checked by someone at WWB and are guaranteed to be reliable and legitimate.

Worldwide Brands is, however, the most expensive paid directory at nearly $300 for membership.  Salehoo costs only $67 and there are sites like that are free to use.  Be sure to take into consideration the considerable cost of Worldwide Brands before joining, as $299 is a significant amount of money that could be spend on stock or advertising instead.
